It is mandatory for all NEW families to attend. Returning families are welcome to join one of the nights too, but it is not required! We will go over the season details and all the questions new swim families have — we also will get new swimmers in the water for a quick Safety Assessment under the guidance of our coaches. All brand-new rookie swimmers, and those who swam on the Developmental Team last year are asked to participate. This is a screening of skills, not a survival test (our goal is for it to not be traumatic).
